All Archery Ranges for ArcheryGB Clubs are now registrable with ArcheryGB and more than 2,100 ranges have been registered under the system. The process has provided ArcheryGB with valuable information about the use, accessibility, capacity, security of tenure and sports they share with.
Registrations are valid for 3 years and renewals will start in October 2020.
Reliance is placed on the clubs self-certifying whether the Range meets the requirements of the Rules of Shooting and, if compliant, the registration takes just minutes.
Non-compliant ranges are able to apply for dispensations and do so by applying a non-compliant marker within the registration which allows ArcheryGB to arrange for a Range Assessor visit. (New Range Assessors have been recruited and trained to help clubs meet the requirements of RoS or to agree appropriate dispensations.
