WELCOME TO OUR HGAC

All AGB coaches in Hertfordshire are members of the Hertfordshire Group of Archery Coaches (HGAC). The group provides coaching services within Hertfordshire to archers of all standards. Our responsibilities include the organisation and day to day running of the County Squad and provision of Open Coaching (Development/Performance); and Coaching Education and Continued Professional Development for Coaches and providing information you need about coaching courses. We also attempt to develop coaching and coach development opportunities. The HGAC meetings usually include training elements and those coaches who have confirmed the membership for the current year take part in the AGM.

HOW WE HELP COACHES

We aim to offer support or advice to anyone interested in becoming a coach and to promote coaching initiatives. We facilitate coaching in the county as archers have told us that coaching is really important to them and this includes novice archers who want to receive more coaching. We act as an advocate for archery coaching in the county. They should facilitate coach training opportunities and promote initiatives that help archers across the county. We communicate Archery GB coaching news, resources and courses, and equally keep Archery GB informed of coaching news from the county. We have two key elements: CCO-Ed. (Education); CCO-Dev (Development); CCO-Perf (Performance). We are enthusiastic about archery coaching and development of archers and we try to be approachable and willing to help others, working throughout the county for the good of all coaches, clubs and archers and trying to support archery via schools and community organisations. Members & Meets

There are numerous Membership classes, both for ArcheryGB Coaches generally and for Hertfordshire Coaches. We arrange regular meet-ups for Hertford Coaches and welcome guest attendees. See our Events page.
